The City of Titusville is going to face some challenging times in the next few years and is going to need a dedicated leader with experience and knowledge to make the tough, but smart decisions, that are best for the citizens of Titusville.
Not only has Sarah grown up in Titusville, she has embedded herself into the community and culture through her career and volunteer efforts. She works at EFSC as a director and instructor, teaching courses in: Public Administration, Public Policy, Public Budgeting, Management & Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Urban & Regional Planning.
Additionally, she has served and volunteered in various capacities, such as: Relay for Life, mentoring college students, Community Redevelopment Agency, Titusville Playhouse, teaching Sunday School to junior high students, serving as a youth group leader, Space Coast League of Cities, Florida League of Cities, and Tourism Development Council Cultural Committee.
Furthermore, her educational background is extensive, having earned degrees in education, a PhD in public affairs, and most recently grad classes in political science. Her passion has extended to building relationships and educating those around the world through being the founder and chair of the Florida League of Cities Young Elected Municipal Officials Advisory Council and speaking about how local governments can utilize social media efforts to engage their citizens through the International City & County Management Association.
